Our tech guy rode one for over 300 miles and he only had to replace a head gasket and do a few minor tune ups. They pay for themselves in fuel efficiency also. These engines are rated for over 80 miles per gallon. Top Speed is between 20-30 MPH depending on your riding style, type of engine, and the weight of the rider. Our style of engine features a lockable clutch that disengages the engine and allows you pedal as a normal bike would without having to hold the clutch while pedaling. This feature is great if you run out of gas, just want to ride, or something as simple as moving it from place to place in your garage. You won't see that with an electric one!!
